Eir

Winsome Eir dons her gifts given by women, gifted also by faithful affectionate men, ‘Heal-hopes’, she wears all your offerings so close to her skin. There are mountain halls of betterment, she gives women the gift of a climb-way, at crag-top ‘be healed within’.

She is one of the 12 and a Goddess of healing

Nearly as fair as Freyja Eir of the Menglad

Upon Inlyfjaberg – the Hill of Healing

High up here is

Comfort to the sick and suffering

Make offerings – at the high altars

Then even the bedridden can climb if they wish it

Women who climb here are cured

Atop this high mountain

Necklace-glad women divine in their service

She even guards men who ask from danger

She is fruit of Yggdrasil in her heart

She is necklace-glad of the Menglad

Wish to climb to her

Heimdall

Grass listener, Wave-born, far-sighted, fair warning, nine-mother-man, honey-worded wooer, Heimdall is a towering safeguard till Horn Blow; his feet feel rainbows.

The sea is within him, the alert one

Less sleep than a bird

He watches for you from a hundred leagues away

Sees you night and day from far

The sound of the wool growing on the backs of the sheep

is music to his ears

Grass growing across the plains sings

At the steps of the rainbow

By the doors of Himinbjorg,

His hall is Cliffs of Heaven

Nine worlds will hear his horn

When fetched from Mimir’s pool the worlds will end

Gjall-blower will be his name that day

All men are born of him

His honeyed words birthed all

Of the twelve gods of the golden age

He is of the golden teeth

Goldtuft he rides

To all ceremonies

Where he wisely argues the case for the betterment

Of the old Gods he knows well the end

He foresees

Let him tell you what comes

In the reflections in mead let him come to you

Eagle-eyed he can help you, forewarn you

The White God king-maker

He Rig the Celts see as king

Runs like a ram when you call for his aid

Of Nine Mothers

When waves form one woman

Where nine is the number

And so there are so many souls

Beings of femininity of the number nine

They are the waves and they unify

To become one wave

A birth wave

Flowing for them comes

Their son

The son of nine mothers

Son of the waters of life

Far seeing, far hearing, ever alert, ever watchful

From them flowing

It is Heimdall

Night

Dark of eye Narvi-daughter Night flies the Weaver of Dreams while elves feel Sleep’s Soothing and dwarves rest ere they raise the sky. Know ‘when you are’ as her moon waxes and your madness wanes.

Know you that nothing that is or was came before her

Night is the start and the beginning

Even Earth came from her

Narvisdottir takes on the mantle of darkness

Becoming night

Dark. Dark Night, dark of eye and of complexion

Her hair flows like a maelstrom

Night has a fashion of dark cream

and a subtle sublimeness to open your eyes to

Awaken in the middle of her and know her charms

They are part of the forever

She is many wedded

Many offspring are procured from her

Night, where pleasure and passion and repercussion are sought after

Dive into her, sleep yee or waken

Night is upon us be shaken deeply

When you are lost within remember morning

Recall well that in your blindness of Night that

She brings us day

Night rides the stallion Hrimfaxi;

Foam from his flying bit forms the dew on the dales

Yes she rides Hrimfaxi, yet

She also brings Nightmare

She Nightmare and her nine riders

They also ride you

In the dark world of men

Night brings the strength

The weakness

The willing plan

The worrisome failings

The chance to stride through a new morning

Have you the strength to endure Night
